At A.B. Data, we take our clients' requirements for
security and confidentiality very seriously. This year, we expect to disperse
more than $500 million dollars in negotiable instruments as well as print and
mail millions of documents that contain private information that must be
protected both electronically and physically.
The A.B. Data network is firewall protected and our FTP server is SSL or Secure Sockets Layer protected. SSL is a protocol for encrypting and decrypting data sent across direct Internet connections. When a client makes an SSL connection with our FTP server, all data sent to and from it is encrypted for confidentiality. Other forms of security are available for data transmission as well.
We also follow a strict set of physical security procedures to protect our buildings and their contents. All production facilities at A.B. Data are located in locked down facilities. Security cameras cover every entrance and every critical point within the walls of our warehouse and other work areas at both our data services and lettershop facilities. No one may enter the facilities without an employee or a visitor badge for identification purposes. An employee escorts visitors at all times. Our Data Services Division is fully bonded and insured, and key staff is required to undergo thorough background checks prior to working in certain areas of our company. |
