United States Postal Service® Awards First NCOALink(tm) Limited Service Provider License in Milwaukee to A.B. Data, Ltd.

We are pleased to announce, A.B. Data has been awarded the first NCOALink(tm) Limited Service Provider license issued by the USPS® (United States Postal Service®) in Milwaukee.  Using secure data storage technology the "Limited Service Provider" NCOALink(tm) database provides mailers with more change-of-address moves, since it uses 18 months of up-to-date address information, versus the "FASTforward®" database that provides only 13 months of address information.  National Change of Address (NCOA) identifies customers who have moved, improving mail deliverability and reducing the cost and time required to forward mail. The existing NCOA program will be replaced entirely by NCOALink(tm).  A.B. Data's Co-Managing Director Bruce Arbit, said, "A.B. Data is pleased to be continuing our successful, decade-long relationship with the U.S. Postal Service.  A.B. Data's latest designation as a Limited Service License holder for NCOALink(tm) will benefit our clients by ensuring that they are reaching consumers effectively with the most accurate change-of-address information available. According to Kathy Versteegh, Manager of A.B. Data's Direct Mail Data Processing Services, "A.B. A.B. Data Enhances Capabilities with Purchase of Paragon Direct

A.B. Data announces the purchase of selected assets of Outlook Group Corporation's Paragon Direct division. Paragon Direct provides database management and mailing services for its own client base as well as clients of Outlook Group.

The promotion of Katrina Anderson to Vice President of Human Resources and Administration recognizes her increased role, continuing leadership, and the exceptional job she has done in human resourse and project management activities within the A.B. Data Group.

 

Katrina has earned the respect of her co-workers for her significant accomplishments at A.B. Data.  Katrina established the first human resources function at our affiliate Great Lakes Communications in 1992.   Following her promotion to corporate human resources director of the A.B. Data Group in 1994, she focused on group-wide human resources with regard to recruitment, employee benefit design, policy and procedure, compensation, compliance, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness. Katrina's promotion demonstrates the measurable value she has brought to the strategic management of A.B. Data's human capital.  Her vision provides a solid blueprint for the future of our most valued assets - our employees.

A.B. Data introduces the purchase of an IBM® InfoPrint® 4000 High Resolution Duplex Printing System. The IBM InfoPrint 4000 offers high speed, high-volume, cost-effective, duplex continuous-forms printing that gives A.B. Data the opportunity to expand business and take on more complex applications. This specially architected printing solution combines advanced controller and print server technology to deliver high-performance, manageable printing. The newest member of the InfoPrint 4000 family prints up to an accelerated 708 impressions per minute. Because this printing system outputs such high speeds and maintains excellent print quality, it provides A.B. Data the opportunity to cost-effectively process larger jobs at higher resolutions.

A.B. Data, Ltd. announces the launch of a new website http://solutions.abdata.com. This website highlights A.B. Data’s professional document processing and transactional mail services and serves as a place for direct merchants, credit unions, health care organizations, insurance companies, government agencies, utilities, municipalities, credit card companies and other financial organizations to go and gain information about services provide by A.B. Data’s Business Critical Communications Group.

Established in 1980, A. B. Data, Ltd. offers a full spectrum of document processing, transactional mail and direct marketing services to a variety of industries. A.B. Data’s approximately 200 employees serve clients through the company’s offices in Milwaukee, WI and Washington, DC.

A.B. Data Adds CD Publishing Capabilities

A.B. Data has added a Rimage CD Publishing system to our collection of software and hardware. This automated system will allow us greater capabilities in creating data CD's and CD labeling by printing directly onto the CD at 4800 DPI

A.B. Data Expands Suite of Software to Include PreS

A.B. Data has renewed our agreement with PrintSoft Americas, Inc. to include their PreS software tools. The PreS tools are used for document composition that include direct PDF creation, PCL output for desktop printer proofs, direct META output for XEROX printers, IPDS emitters to drive today's' standard continuous form laser printers, full 2D barcode creation, E-Mail DLL for E-Mail transmissions, and XML output for e-presentment on line.

Midwest Airlines Selects A.B. Data Digital Print, Mail Solutions for Increased Flexibility

Midwest Airlines has selected A.B. Data of Milwaukee to provide comprehensive digital printing and mailing solutions for the communications that the airline produces for its key audience of Midwest Miles members.

A.B. Data is an innovative provider of business critical communications and transactional mail services. Through a seamless integration of their core competencies, A.B. Data will incorporate new features such as selective messaging and intelligent inserting into the Midwest Miles mailing program, allowing Midwest Airlines increased flexibility communicating with its customers.

A.B. Data’s Business Critical Communications Group will be managing the Midwest Miles quarterly mileage summary mailing project. The Business Critical Communications Group processes projects such as this in a secure environment where quick-turnaround times and a very high degree of accuracy are required.
